The Callan Athletic Center at Cedarville University, named in 2003 after former athletic director and coach Don Callan, is a premier Midwest facility for Yellow Jacket basketball and volleyball. Opened in 1981, it seats 3,000 fans and features a parquet-style wood court, along with multiple basketball, volleyball, and badminton courts. The adjacent Fitness and Recreation Center houses racquetball courts, a climbing wall, and weight training areas. The center has hosted numerous post-season tournaments, including NCCAA National Championships and Great Midwest Athletic Conference events.
The Doden Field House, opened in March 2004, is a versatile facility at Cedarville University that supports year-round training for various sports, enhances intramural programs, and hosts events like graduation ceremonies with seating for up to 7,000. Its spacious interior features a gray infield with a Connor ElastiPlus surface marked for basketball, volleyball, tennis, and soccer, making it ideal for multi-sport use. Recent upgrades were completed in January 2018, and the facility includes an 8-lane electronic scoreboard and seating for approximately 1,100 fans. The Doden Field House is a premier venue for hosting summer basketball and volleyball camps, ensuring a top-notch experience for participants.
The Yellow Jacket Soccer Complex at Cedarville University, opened in 2002, features a natural turf soccer field (120 x 73 yards) with an irrigation system and an eight-lane track added in 2004. Designed under former athletic director Pete Reese, the lighted facility includes seating for 2,000, field-level seating for students, an electronic video/scoreboard, a press box with wireless internet, and permanent concession and restroom facilities. It has hosted numerous notable events, including the inaugural Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Championship (2012), the G-MAC Women's Championship (2013), and several NCCAA Midwest Region Championships. The complex has also served as a venue for Ohio High School Athletic Association post-season matches, including state semifinals for boys' and girls' soccer from 2003 to 2007.
Yellow Jacket Field, located at the north end of Cedarville University's campus, opened in 2000 as part of a larger athletic complex. It features a natural turf field with a Diamond Pro infield, an eight-foot wooden fence (12 feet in centerfield), and outfield dimensions of 330 feet down the lines, 383 feet in the alleys, and 402 feet to center. The facility includes 50-foot dugouts, a press box, electronic scoreboard, seating for 500, and automatic irrigation and drainage systems. Completed under the leadership of former athletic director Pete Reese, the site also has a picnic pavilion and concession stand.
The Lady Jacket Softball Field opened in time for the 2000 season at the north end of the campus. It was designed and built under the leadership of then Athletic Director Pete Reese. The venue includes a Diamond Pro skin infield, a natural turf outfield, and a 10-foot warning track leading up to an eight-foot high wooden fence which elevates to 12 feet in centerfield. The outfield dimensions are 210 feet down each line and 225 feet to center. The site includes 40-foot long dugouts, a press box, electronic scoreboard, and seating for 500 people. Lady Jacket Field features an automatic irrigation system and drainage. The site has served as host of multiple NCCAA Midwest Regional Tournaments.
The Pamela Diehl Johnson-J. Murray Murdoch Tennis Complex, opened in 1996, serves as the home of Cedarville University's Yellow Jackets tennis teams. Located on the north edge of campus, it features nine lighted courts with a Latex-ite color-coating and cushion surface. The complex has hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including NAIA and NCCAA championships. The facility is named after former coaches Pamela Diehl Johnson and J. Murray Murdoch, both NAIA Hall of Fame members. Johnson coached the women's team from 1977–2006, achieving 280 wins, 12 NAIA National Tournament appearances, and multiple regional and conference titles. Murdoch, who led the men's team from 1966–1994, earned 563 victories, five undefeated seasons, and 23 NAIA District 22 and Mid-Ohio Conference championships. A commemorative plaque honors their Christian testimony and contributions to NAIA and NCCAA tennis, with the complex dedicated in their names on September 22, 2007.
